Your memories of Liverpool at home?
My first Liverpool match at UP was Frank Lampard's last for WHU (and George Parris' first) in 84/85.

Mark Noble's last 2nd penalty in about 2008 is a recent(ish) highlight, here:

What memories do you have?

Loss after loss after loss, with the occasional draw and very occasional victory.

Re: Your memories of Liverpool at home?
I remember losing 2-5 one game and also a 0-0 around the early nineties that was a decent game. The 4-1 League Cup game was a better memory.

Didn't Ian Rush score a belter against us, his first after he came back from Juventus?

In 2008 I had £2.50 on Noble to score first and West HAm to win 1-0 at 125-1.

I also had about a ton on us to win.

I was happy!

We beat them in about 98 I think, 2-1. Michael Owen got his customary goal, but Hartson and Berkovic (maybe?) scored for us.

Blimey, that was TWO matches in a row that we beat them at home with goals from Hartson and Berkovic. Weird!

B I thought Fowler scored that day? We were winning 1-0 they equalised and within minutes we went 2-1 up with a deflected Hartson goal?

Noble in '08

Parker scoring the other year in a 3-1 win.

A mass BRAWL in the Chicken Run last year when Gerrard scored the 2nd pen. Claret everywhere.

Owen scoring a last minute equaliser for them, think it was his 100th goal or something. Big nose went spastic on the sidelines the massive fist

Winning 3-1 with Ba getting a couple and Parker the other.

McManaman cowering when a bit of water hit him from the Chicken Run.

Bilic playing brilliant but we lost.

Berkovic tearing Liverpool to bits.

Ince brace and a mental volley. Gale free kick.

Fuck it. I had a hundred quid on B mentioning the 2-2 draw in 85! Bollocks!

Anyway, that 84-85 game was my first against them too. Was it a Friday night? Paul WALSH with a brace and Jim BEGLIN with the other?

Wheels came off the 86-87 season with a 5-2 defeat. Dalglish came off the bench and destroyed us.

We done pretty well against them in the mid to late 90's including smashing them 3-0 to stay up with Bud getting a brace.

The highlight though is the League cup game. They beat us 2-0 in the league just before and no one gave us a chance. One of my most favourite games ever that.

Re: Your memories of Liverpool at home?
Late 90's we beat them all the time, until that Owen game mentioned got them a draw.

95/96 0.0 was a belter too

"Wheels came off the 86-87 season with a 5-2 defeat. Dalglish came off the bench and destroyed us."

I mentioned that game. Tom McAlister was IN goal, I'm sure of it.
